So true!!!! Love and respect are the most important aspects of parenting, and of all relationships. Each day of our lives we make deposits in the memory banks of our children.
So often, children are punished for being human. Children are not allowed to have grumpy moods, bad attitudes, disrespectful tones, or bad days, yet we adults have them all the time. None of us are perfect, and it is ok. We must just stop holding children to a higher standard of perfection than we can attain ourselves.
The greatest gift we can offer our kids or anyone who is younger to us, is the love respect care attention which is all spiritual gifts we all have..it isn't some gift that money can buy one gifted.
It is forgiveness and appreciation with living and kind words what everyone likesand the value of having healthy, happy, and loving relationships in life.
When our children experience us humbly seeking true forgiveness, we are not only showing them how to walk in Authentic, Loving, Healthy Relationship, but we are providing a safe place for them to do so.
Every parent must remember that one day our children will follow our example instead of our advice, no matter what it is about! What goes around, comes around in many manifolds!
What children likes is pure innocence and fun. .if you have been symbolic of it you surely are your children's friend. ..and if you have been symbolic of discipline and authority without love and care, you susrely would not be a respectful person in their eyes.
Be Grateful for small to big things
..! Be Considerate and Compassionate toward Self and Others ! Count your blessings .
